Planning Committees

Food Committee

Description

The Food Committee is responsible for coordinating food and monetary donations to provide inexpensive meals to conference attendees on Community Days.

Housing and Travel Committee

Description

The Housing and Travel Committee is responsible for securing group hotel rates, coordinating housing shares in the local community, and selecting applicants for travel scholarships.

Providers Day Committee

Description

The Provider's Day Committee is responsible for organizing Provider's Day, the portion of the conference aimed towards members of the medical and social services.

Programming and Workshops Committee

Description

The Programming Committee is responsible for deciding which workshops will be presented at the conference, and for scheduling workshops into the limited space and time available.

Vending and Advertising Committee

Description

The Vending Committee is responsible for selling table space to the organizations, both for-profit and non-profit, who attend the conference. This committee also coordinates advertising in our conference program.

diversity committee

Description

The Diversity Committee is responsible for reaching out to historically underrepresented members of the trans community and improving accessibility to them, as well as seeking out workshop presenters to ensure there is a wide range of programming targeted to all attendees.

Social Committee

Description

The Social Committee is responsible for organizing extracurricular events for conference attendees the weekend of the conference, culminating in a dance and mixer held Saturday evening at the conclusion.

Volunteer Committee

Description

The Volunteer Committee is responsible for signing up volunteers and assigning them duties during the weekend of the conference.
