PTHC is looking for conference volunteers for 2015
As well as:
Your time and energy can make a difference! Our conference will be held June 4-6, 2015 at 129 N. Broad St. Phila, PA 19107 Pennsylvania Convention Center.
Our volunteers ensure the success and continuation of the world’s largest trans* health conference – a three day event with over 250 workshops and activities attended by over 3200 people. They also enable us to continue making this conference accessible by keeping it free to attendees. The mission of PTHC is to educate and empower trans* individuals on issues of health and well-being; educate and inform allies and health service providers; along with facilitating networks, community-building, and systemic changes. We strive to create an accessible and respectful environment that is inclusive of diverse gender-identities and expressions as well as inclusive of diverse opinions and ideas.
Whether it is registering conference attendees, answering questions, assisting presenters, or helping out in other ways, our volunteers make this event possible. Everyone can volunteer, although some positions may have requirements. We encourage teachers, family members, partners, neighbors, friends, LGBT organizations, allies and youth (with written permission from a parent or guardian).
